Hypermedia is building a new concept in audio news and entertainment which synthesizes the most relevant news, podcasts, music and more, into an infinite scroll of audio shows.

Role description

We use our mobile apps to distribute personalized and interactive audio content to our users. We want your expertise to help us explore brand new territory in app UX - an AI native, multi-modal, listening experience.

Job requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science
• In-depth knowledge of at least one mobile platform: iOS, Android
• Good abstract thinking, ability to triage and remediate issues in complex software
• In-depth knowledge of fundamentals like networking, storage (not just UI implementation)
• Ability to pivot on different platforms like Android or Mobile Web by leveraging AI tools
• Strong track record for delivering polished and reliable apps in a short timeframe. Experience with working in a fast pace environment is a major plus
• Good product sense and ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions with little product specification
• Hacker mindset, with a high degree of autonomy, initiative and ownership

Location

We’re based in San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle and prefer collaborating in-person in those two locations. However, we can accommodate remote locations if needed.
