Hypermedia is building a new concept in audio news and entertainment which synthesizes the most relevant news, podcasts, music and more, into an infinite stream of audio shows.

Role description

The core of our product is a realtime content-based recommendation engine. Help us build the next generation of multi-content (news, podcast, music) generative recommendations that will deliver an outstanding level of personalization to users.

Job requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science
• Strong fundamentals in Machine Learning
• Exceptional coding skills in Python
• In-depth industry experience with ML frameworks, preferably PyTorch
• Ability to act as a generalist and occasionally take on non-ML work to enable the best recommendations for users
• Experience with running and fine-tuning open-source models like Llama is a big plus
• Hacker mindset, with a high degree of autonomy, initiative and ownership

Location

We’re based in San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle and prefer collaborating in-person in those two locations. However, we can accommodate remote locations if needed.
